It isn’t a great picture but let me tell you they are so beautiful. There are two eagles that live in this nest…and i think there may be a little one 🙂 We see the adults flying around often and they are massive! I swear their wingspan must be as wide as my outstretched arms. The nest is huge as well… I’m thinking if someone were brave/stupid enough to climb the tree and face their wrath they could probably curl up and take a nap in it!

Fantastic. We once saw this HUGE bird in the sky, coming towards our house. Hubby wondered what the heck it was. Then we remembered that a white tailed eagle had been seen around in these parts. We don’t normally get eagles except up in Sciotland so this is very unusual.
Really cool 🙂 They are so huge in the sky makes me think they would be a little intimidating close up!
I think they would too.
How fabulous. Have fun watching them all summer. Gigantic nest for sure. I think they use the same one and add to it each year. Beautiful.
