White flower from the Chicago Botanic Garden

Another flower picture from Gigi and the resulting micropoetry from me 🙂

I see a little girl, named
Sunshine (or Sunny for short)
with her blonde hair
in pigtails
and big blue eyes
gleaming mischievously
as she plays hopscotch
in her starched
white dress

  1. Extra special. My youngest sisters name is Sunserae. Native American for the word, sunshine. And yes, I can remember her as a little girl (14 years younger than me), and the two of us playing hopscotch.

Thank you for unknowingly bringing me a bucket of warm sunshine.❤️
