Early morning conversations or why I love my husband

“Wakey, wakey” I say in a sing-song way as I rub my hand across his back

for which I’m rewarded a grunt and a groan

“Hunny the clock says 3:33…(pause)

….Get up, I’ll start coffee.”

He says in a voice still groggy with sleep, “333….The mark of the midgetbeast.”

[This conversation took place 3/3/2015]

Somethings just have to be shared.  😉

  1. 3:33 in the a.m.? OUCH! Does he milk cows, is he a baker, is the clock broken? Are the two of you sane? … Just joking on that last line. I swear, I’m never going to complain about waking up before noon ever again. … Joking again, but I’m too ashamed to tell you my real morning wake up time.
    Bless you two!

Are you sure you all don’t want to move to Texas? The alarm can be changed, horizons will open up, you can live your passion and then some………
Geography matters so does a built-in genuine supportive community.

LOL! I get up around 4am each morning. Favorite time of day for me. Quiet house. MY time.

  4. The Midgetbeast, OMG I was laughing out loud. I have all kinds of stories and pictures floating around in my head as Brian mutters those fateful word…”…the Midgetbeast.” This is wonderful and inspiring. You have to write a poem about the Midgetbeast. Most definitely. 🙂

  5. Love it, the midgetbeast. Anything can happen 3 in the morning.
