This set of Acrostic Poems is the second of several poetry forms that Bianca & I are collaborating on. One of us will post and then the other will respond in kind. Enjoy

I have four submissions for your reading pleasure 🙂
Nova
Ignites the sky
Gaze at constellations
How many can you identify?
Tethered, as you are, to Earth
No light shines the shroud
I walk alone into the black
Giggling anxiously, eyes darting
Hidden horrors await behind unseen bends
To ____________
Nary a sound, hush
Inside all are sleeping
Go quickly child, run
Here is your chance
To escape into the dark night
Navy sky provides backdrop to be
Illuminated, illustrated by
Gleaming, glowing, golden
Hued
Twilight

Love #3
“Nary a sound, hush
Inside all are sleeping
Go quickly child, run
Here is your chance
To escape into the dark night”
Thank you so much! 3 is my favorite as well. The man thought 4 was best. 🙂
I’ve been tossing around the idea of attempting a palindrome… have never done one. What do you think?
Wonderfull! I liked the second one best, even tho all are good 🙂
Thank you. What did you think about the open ending to that one?
I liked it and wanted to point out I liked it best precisley because of the open ending. Ithought it gave a +1 dimension to the poem.
