Sunken Garden Tub

Garden Tub

Meant to invoke thoughts of languid bubble baths

with fragrant candles burning.

Shocking to see

a bath grown cold and kool-aid red,

One arm hanging out over the side.

Unplug the drain.

Let the life slip away with the water.

  2. This is profound. Things are rarely as they seem. The flip side of life is always presentโ€ฆalways. No safety to be found and one’s senses can find no port but are dashed against the rocks, time and time again, when the dark side appears. Wonderful. I just love this.
